Adults: The standard dose is usually 10 mg or 20 mg in any dose. Children: 10 mg or 20 mg: Can be lower doses of 10 or 20 mg, either. The new starting dose is usually 15 mg or 20 mg. Depending on your doctor’s response to treatment, a dose of 20 mg might be required.
For children, the usual dose is5 to 10 mg(or 10 to 20 mg in some cases).
If your doctor does not approve using the inhaler as much as you may need to use a higher dose of the inhaler. For example, if your doctor does not approve using5 mgof Ventolin HFA, a dose of 10 mg is generally considered too high.

This medication is a beta-2 agonist used in adults to treat asthma. It is available in the form of Ventolin.
Your healthcare provider may prescribe this medicine to treat shortness of breath, wheezing or cough. It is also used to treat symptoms of COPD and symptoms of breathing problems such as rapid shortness of breath.
This medication is a rescue bronchodilator. It belongs to a class of drugs called bronchodilators.

You can take this medication with or without food. However, if you take it with a meal, it may reduce your intake of this medication.

You may have a more severe reaction if you have had an allergic reaction to other bronchodilators such as albuterol. This medication may cause more serious allergic reactions and may need a different medication. You may be more likely to develop serious side effects if you use this medication.
If you are currently pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding while using this medication, you should not use this medication while breastfeeding unless it has been prescribed for you.

Inhaler is provided by Dr. Smith for use in the treatment of asthma symptoms, such as shortness of breath and wheezing. The nebulizer is provided by Dr. Smith for use in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Ventolin HFA 90 mcg is an over-the-counter inhaler that contains 90 mcg of salbutamol. Ventolin HFA 90 mcg is used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The medication is a selective beta2-adrenoreceptor antagonist and works by relaxing the muscles of the airways, thereby relieving and/or decreasing the expiratory flow (passive flow). Ventolin HFA 90 mcg is also used to treat exercise-induced bronchospasm in patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Take this medicine by mouth with a sufficient amount of liquid (such as water, juice, or a meal) to be taken by mouth. You should not crush, break, or chew the medicine. You should not use your inhaler more frequently than directed by your doctor. To treat your symptoms, take your dose on an empty stomach or at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Follow the directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets before using this product. Some inhalers contain lactose.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take two doses at one time. Do not give in between.
If you are brought up light, talk to your doctor before you use this medicine. This medicine may make you more sensitive to the sun and other environmental factors. Use a sunscreen or protective clothing when you are at risk of sun exposure. Limit your exposure to the sun during your treatment to at least 30 minutes before the dose of this medicine. Do not use an exposure device that is not enclosed by your skin to avoid direct sunlight. Wash your hands after you use this medicine.
